Working Environment ・ Company Culture

Global English Academy is a very warm and welcoming school. We work with our students to help them reach their goals. We have regular training sessions where new educational methods and techniques are discussed so that they can be implemented in our lessons. By continuing to build and renew our English program we are able to create a educational culture where impassioned teachers can thrive.
Since April 2019, we have been making steps to improve how we work. In order for an instructor to be passionate and concentrate on English education, we at Global English Academy feel it is necessary to build a system with various structures and rewards. education

We try to match each instructor to their best suited curriculum when possible.
We are currently looking for the following instructors
Instructors who are able and willing to teach English proficiency exam courses (EIKEN), Medical English, Academic English, Business English, Preschool English, etc.

Required Personality Traits
All successful applicants must be

  • bright, cheerful and energetic
  • have good interpersonal, and conversational skills
  • expressive and able to communicate clearly
  • able to work well in a team
  • able follow lesson plans and teach lessons in English

Educational and Skill Requirements

High school (or above) graduate/ No experience necessary,
English Equivalency (EIKEN) Level 2 or higher/TOEIC 730
or higher (or equivalent English skills)

Working Details

Training will be provided for teaching materials, implementing teaching policies, and interpreting the curriculum etc. Those with little or no experience will be fully supported.
All successful applicants will receive training starting from the basics if necessary.

  • Working days: 1 or more days a week
  • Working hours: 2 or more hours a week
  • Hourly wages: 1,000 yen to 2,500 yen
  • Instructors in charge of special courses may receive a
    pay increase for the course.
    In such case hourly wage may increase to a maximum of
    2,500 yen per course depending on the ability of the instructor.
  • Transportation expenses: paid in full
  • Work location: Global English Academy
    (Kintetsu Yamato Saidaiji), sister school MEBAE KIDS
    Osaka (Osaka Uehonmachi)

Recruitment of Foreign
teachers for English Education

We are currently looking for the following instructors
English language teacher. Must possess and be able to demonstrate a mastery of the English language. Instructors who are able and willing to teach standard English course or medical English, academic English, business English, early childhood English, etc. We try to match each instructor to their best suited curriculum when possible.

Required Personality Traits
Successful applicants must be

  • bright, cheerful, and energetic
  • have good interpersonal, and conversational skill
  • expressive and able to communicate clearly
  • able to work well in a team
  • able to follow lesson plans and teach lessons in English

Visa Requirements and Conditions of application

All foreign national employees must have a valid visa which permits him or her to work in Japan. Visa sponsorship is available upon request. Please state clearly your current visa status and if you require visa sponsorship when you apply.

Educational and Skill Requirements

High school (or above) graduate/ No experience necessary,
English Equivalency (EIKEN) Level 2 or higher/TOEIC 730
or higher (or equivalent English skills)

  • Have the ability to teach English to children is necessary
  • Have experience working in Japanese elementary schools,
    international schools and English conversation schools
  • Be flexible and can work together as a team player with
    Japanese teachers
  • Be passionate for English Education
  • Have PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Be able to participate in advertising services such as DM
    and flyer distribution and can actively participate in event planning etc.)
  • *The Japanese Equivalency test (JLPT) certification is
    preferable

Working Details
